Degree or Courses
You may want to earn a degree or simply take a course to grow professionally. We can help with any courses that will benefit you in a current or future job at CHI Health. They don’t have to relate directly to your existing role. Pursuing a degree to obtain this benefit is not required. The course does need to qualify for a degree program and be offered through an accredited college or university. (Courses required for certification are not eligible for this program).
Tuition assistance is available to both part time and full time employees in good standing, when approved by the manager. A full-time employee (regularly scheduled to work at least 64 hours per two-week pay period) or part-time employee (regularly scheduled to work at least 40 hours per two-week pay period), is eligible on date of hire. Full-time (0.8 and above FTE) and part-time (0.5 FTE – 0.7 FTE) employees are eligible to participate if conditions are met.
Maximum Annual Benefit
- Full-time .8 FTE, $3,000 per calendar year
- Part-time .5 FTE, $1,500 per calendar year
To be eligible for reimbursement, courses must be approved in advance by the employee’s manager. Eligible employees will be reimbursed only for courses which are directly related to the employee’s current position or which will enhance the employee’s potential for transfer or advancement to a position within the organization.
